Condolences
Cora & Family,
I am saddened to hear I have lost another classmate. Our class was so small
it's like losing a family member. Please know how very sorry I am. May happy
memories carry you through this sorrowful time.
I have always looked forward to our Christmas's and cook-outs at his house and am especially grateful for the days Dad and I got to go and spend time with him. I loved listening to his and Dad's stories and then them debate the details, they rarely agreed on those. Going to his house was like going to a museum with a personal guide and always an unexpected turn as he had created some addition to a project or somehow rigged a solution for an old tractor or other problem he encountered. The best was getting to ride on the tractor that he built himself. He will be missed, but always treasured.
I have known Larry since we were in high school in the 1950's. When we were in high school he had an old car that was painted a light blue that he called the Blue Goose. We would pile in it and go uptown to Bonnie Bea's for lunch. A great memory from the past. Whenever I would see Larry he always had time to visit. I will miss those visits. He is at peace now.
