Jerry & Marilyn,
It was always great to run into Wes and visit with him. He always left a smile with you. I remember going to the Dairy Bar in the early 1970s when I was a student at Blackburn. Wes worked the grill behind the counter and always had something to say to the customers who were there. Wes will be remembered by so many people for his friendship and also his commitment to his work in the community. Sending prayers of Peace to you and all the family.
One of the best. With Wes involved in so many things, I interacted with him many times during my time at the paper. Always a pleasure to be around. People like him don't come around every day and Carlinville was fortunate to have him. Blessings to his family.
Jerel and Marilyn, Verna, Carl, and families - my sincere sympathies to you - he was a one-of-a-kind treasure, and will be missed by all who knew or worked with him!
For anyone who knew Wes this was news we didn’t want to hear.
He was a good friend to the Jokisch family and so many others in this community.
Our sincere condolences to his family. David & Ardeth
Sure sorry to hear of Wes' passing. I think everyone he met became a friend, and he met a lot of people. Prayers to the family, and may God comfort you all.
