Condolences
MY condolences to the Loveless family. May his memory be eternal.
What a kind, gentle soul. He was a fine example of what living in a community once meant, living in and sharing in it's life blood of activity for the greater good of all. I'll still see him driving his truck around town, smiling and waving hello. Peace friend, and thank you for all you've done for Carlinville.
I knew Wes as a very effective employee of Carlinville Schools during my time there. Not only was he a great custodian who took pride in his building, but he also served as a wonderful support person to the many, many students fortunate enough to come in contact with him during their school years. I remember well the day he received his "Those Who Excel" award as part of the Illinois School Board's recognition program in Chicago. A small contingent of teachers and school board members went up for the ceremony held in a banquet room at the Chicago Hyatt downtown that evening, but Wes and I drove up early to take in a Cub's game that afternoon prior to the award banquet. Leaving early and getting back home in the wee hours made for a very long but wonderful day. May he RIP.
So sorry to hear about Wes. He will be missed.
Sorry for your loss. Wes was a good person and loved to joke around. I will miss him dearly.

Sincere condolences to the entire family. I'd write a memory about Wes, but there are so so many! He has been a HUGE part of this community - at South School, the Fire Department, as an alderman, and a friend to MANY! He would go out of his way to help someone, especially kids! He was a kind soul, though he could be ornery and argue with the best of them. He will be deeply missed, and always remembered.
