I'm very sorry to hear of Flora's passing. She was a very lovely lady. I remember her from my time working the Fish Fry's and Soup Supper back in the 80-'s Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I had my first and only grape pie that Flo had made. I thought at the time Wow she removed all those tiny seeds. It was worth it for me because it was very good but I would have never done that. To much work for me. I will miss Flo.

I always remember how sweet Flora was when I'd go to the bank with my mom. As I grew up, she later gifted me with the Chesterfield Cookbook, knowing I'd grown up baking from recipes in my mom's copy. Such a special lady.
