Christie and family, You and your loved ones are in my thoughts and prayers. Although I didn't know you very well, my mom, Loudene had fond memories of you. My mom and your mom worked through their differences and your mom became a lifeline for her. My mom passed in 2011 and my dad in 2006, so mom and Janet's relationship were beneficial to each other. Your mom loved to shop and find bargains, so she would call or come down the lane to ask what mom needed. Mom would say, ' that Janet is a road runner, she lives to run'. So it seemed like everyday they made a connection or a buy. When I was there, Janet would bustle in with her finds of the day and I would talk her in to sitting and sharing something I had made for mom. After mom's death, I often would make some of Janet's favorite things, chicken salad, soup, cookies and take to her. The last time I saw her was Tuesday January 12th. Of course I brought her food, but also sang with her,( Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus), prayed for her and held her hand. I will definitely miss my down the lane neighbor, our visits and phone calls. She is at peace now and will be running the streets of gold. Blessings and Prayers, Penny and Jim Edwards
