Ruby and I were classmates in the Class of 1963 at Carlinville High School. Whenever I think about Ruby, I find myself smiling and can't remember any time in High School when she wasn't smiling. She loved people and she loved life and she loved fun. She will obviously be missed by her family, but also by many, many classmates and friends. My thoughts are with her family.

To Ruby's family: I'm so sorry to learn of Ruby's passing. I graduated from high school with her in 1963. We worked together at a teenage hangout called "Roper's Dairy Bar." She always kept me entertained; she was so funny! I remember when we were working at the Dairy Bar, bored to death--waiting for a basketball or football game to be over--when the kids would come rushing in and pack the place--she would stand behind the counter squishing those little packets of jelly candy to "keep them soft." She was a hoot! She returned for one of our class reunions--25th? 30th?--she and I were in the minority as "singles," so we danced together--sort of--we got so crazy we both fell down on the floor. Yes, being silly! I know you all will miss her terribly. God bless you all.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with your mom at BC, she was my buddy. She was such a great caring loving person, who always made me laugh. She will be greatly missed. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I am soo sorry to have seen that you lost your Mother~ Loosing a parent is one of the hardest things we will have to deal with in our lives~ Just loosing Dad in Feb has given me a whole new take on life~ I wish you and your family members lots of support and love.
