Anthony Shane Howard

age 49, of Carlinville, formerly of Staunton, IL passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at 11: 10 P.M. at his home with his family surrounding him.

Shane was born on August 18, 1959 in Mayfield, KY to Roland L. and Ada A. (Howell) Howard. He married his wife of six years, Susan (Farris) Howard on June 27, 2003 in Las Vegas, NV.

Shane worked as a used car wholesaler for over 30 years. He loved the outdoors, and enjoyed camping and 4-wheeling. He was a true fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and Rams. Shane was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church in Benton, KY. He graduated from Marshall County High School in 1977.

Survivors include his wife, Sue and daughter Farris Howard of Carlinville, IL, his sister Kimberly Howard of Lexington, KY, Nieces Erin and Amanda McGregor of Lexington, KY. and Grandmother, Ruth Howell of Benton, KY, Other "family" members include his close friends, the Brothers & Others.

Preceding Shane in death were his parents, grandparents, Arnold Howard and Roland and Doris Howard, and Uncle Glynn Howard. Funeral Information

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 29, 2009 from 2:00 until 5:00 P.M. at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL. There will be no funeral services. Donations Information
