It seems impossible that Shane is no longer here. Reflecting on Shane's life has taught me that we are not promised tomorrows and that we should do our best to live everyday to it's fullest. The short time I've known Shane was just that, too short. I really liked the guy. He was funny, tall, nice to be around, tall, always had a smile a mile wide and greeted me with open arms and a warm handshake, did I mention he was tall. I will truly miss his the man, I will miss his laugh.

Although, I did not know Shane, Sue, and Farris very well, I feel like I do because of Ada and Kim. I have truly enjoyed seeing all the pictures of Farris that Kim has e-mailed me through the years. We pray for strength and comfort for the whole family.

Sue, My mother, Lula Belle, has so enjoyed your e-mails and especially the pictures of Farris. She's told me many times that her favorite is the one where Shane is holding a sleeping Farris in her swimming suit at the beach. It brings tears to my eyes just thinking about it. I knew Shane in the 1980's at Evansville Auto Auction, a nice guy, sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are with his family.
