Condolences
Todd, Larry and families, I am sorry to hear of your grandma's passing. She was an icon of my childhood. My recollections of her go back to when your dad had the clothing store in the NW corner of the square. Then she was a fixture at Wal Mart and finally when I would visit family and friends at Heritage. You were lucky she was so strong and you had her for so long.
Our deepest sympathy to Clara's family. She was a very special lady who always had a smile and greeting for everyone she met. She is now at peace with our Lord and for this we must be thankful.
Joyce and family: We just read of Clara's death. We have missed her for sometime from our neighborhood, but will always have fond memories of her. I know that final goodbyes are never easy, but it is good to know that she is now restored. Frank and Debbie Link
I have many fond memories of Clara working at Wal-Mart. She was a great lady to have known. Sorry for the loss.
Joyce - I remember when your mom was still sending Christmas cards, she would always include a special recipe that she thought I'd like. My favorite was the banana-nut bread with sour cream. Think if was one of Angie's favs too. Love and prayers to all the family.
Your mother was so sweet and kind. We lived next door to them when our oldest daughter was around 1 yrs old. She was so nice to us. Me being a new mother she was special. Sorry for the loss.

Joyce, as we talked on Sunday, your Mother will truly be missed, but we are so happy that she's at peace and will not suffer any more. We hope your many happy memories will comfort you now and in the coming months. If there's anything we can do, please call us. Take care, Love ya Sharon and Max

I had the pleasure of working with your Mother during my High Scool years at the Sherman store. All of the ladies at Shermans became special friends to me. Your mother was always teaching me the business it was a pleasure to work with her during the holiday season and through the inventory process. It was three wonderful years of winter employment an expierence that will never be forgotten. Just like that time in my life, your "Mother" will be forever dear to me and never forgotten. God Bless.
