Mary Lois Miller, 104, of Virden, formerly of Girard, passed away Monday, October 28, 2024, at Sunrise Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Virden, IL.

Mary was born September 6, 1920, in Girard, IL, a daughter of George and Nettie Blocher Nichelson. Mary attended Girard High School. She married Lawrence Miller on November 13, 1936, in Girard, IL.

Mary was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She loved to spend time with her friends, especially going out to eat. Mary loved to bowl, and she bowled on several bowling teams over the years.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, son Jack Miller, daughter Shirley Joan Tucker, grandson, Christopher Tucker, granddaughter, Rebecca Tucker, and 7 brothers and sisters.

There will be no services for Mary Lois Miller.

Burial will take place in Girard Cemetery, Girard, IL.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Karen Lynn (Tony) Mosello of Highlands Ranch, CO, daughter-in-law Joan Miller, Girard, IL granddaughter, Lynnette Miller Waln, grandson, Scott Tucker, grandson, Todd Miller, grandson, Steve Miller, granddaughter, Angela Buzzetta, grandson, Thomas Prose, great-grandchildren, Celeste, Crysta, Andrew, Julie, Kristen, Cody, Kaitlyn, Ty, Devin, Alex, Lindsay, Dalton, Bailey, and eleven great-great grandchildren.
