Condolences
I am sad to hear that Pat has left us all. I first met Pat at St. Mary's catholic school in Carlinville. I will always remember the good times we had in Carlinville with the CHS football team, CHS wrestling team, roadside parties, and working with him at the Elevator Shop. I am sorry that his fight for life is over. You will be missed Patman. - Mark Bloome CHS 1988 Classmate & Friend.
Thinking of the days of the bustling Drury daycare. Organized, big, activity-filled and full of the fun and energy of Helen and her boys who all had critical functions in its success.
Pat, a sweet beautiful child and teen, dear schoolmate and loyal friend to my daughter Wendy Rhoads. Their group of friends was really something; always up to some kind of fun (or good hearted trouble).
Pat's twinkling eyes; his smile unrolled.
Memories of their school years and beyond. Pat; kind, joyful, beautiful soul. Just like the family he came from.
Pat had a big heart and was very outspoken. Rest easy and fly high! You will be missed!
Not only did Pat have a big heart but he also never forgot those that helped him. We tied up to his doc at Otter and sought shelter at his camper during a storm. Many years prior I helped him tune a demo car. Anytime we ran into him he was always first to buy. His heart was right. Prayers for his family and friends.
Q: What was one of your favorite qualities of James?
