Donnie was a neighbor to my parents and I for over 34 years. He was always there to help my parents with anything they needed. And after they passed away he was always there to help me with lawnmower issues or anything I needed help with. When he was still trucking he would bring mom and dad watermelons, cantaloupe, Texas oranges, Vidalia onions, paying for it all himself and never letting us repay him. We kept an eye on his house and property while he was gone. He was a great neighbor and friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I will miss you “Cookie Man”. I will see you and Dawn some day on the other side.
