John Michael "Mike" Robb Jr., 57 of Standard City, IL passed away Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, IL.
Mike was born on January 17, 1967, in Carlinville, IL, a son of John Michael Sr. and Betty (Rainey) Robb.
He married Tammy Jarman April 5, 1986, in Carlinville, IL.
Mike enjoyed spending time with Tammy, his best friend and wife of 38 years.Whether they were hanging out at home together, or taking one of their many road trips, where you found one, you often found the other. He had friends all over the country. When he wasn't spending time with Tammy, he was often with his kids, grandkids, siblings, or club brothers. He enjoyed bow hunting, riding the side by side with the Doolittle Crew, as he affectionately called our riding group, playing pool both for fun and in a league, and riding his motorcycles was one of his greatest joys.
Splinter, as he was known to his many friends and club brothers, was a 20 year member of the Iron Sleds MC in Nilwood, IL and loved his club family as much as his own. He made a lasting impression everywhere he went and was loved and will be missed by many.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents.
Mike's family will be celebrating his life from 1-4pm Saturday June 15, 2024 with a potluck luncheon at the Village Hall in Standard City, IL. This celebration is open to all.
The Iron Sleds MC will also be hosting a celebration of life Saturday September 28, 2024 at 1pm for those who wish to attend.
Mike is survived by his wife, Tammy Robb of Standard City, IL, daughter, Kayla (Terry) Wyhs of Palmyra, IL, son, John M. (Kelsey) Robb III, of Pleasant Plains, IL, sister, Angie (Frank) Shoemaker of Standard City, IL, sister, Vickie Britz of Virden, IL, sister, April (Thomas) Mitchell of Standard City, IL, three grandchildren; Bailey, Landon, and Ashlynn, and several nieces & nephews.
