Alice L Stratton, 94, of Carlinville, IL, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Carlinville Rehab and Health Care in Carlinville, IL.

Alice was born October 14, 1929, in Bloomington, IL, to Charles F. and Lily E. Wilson. Alice graduated from High School with the class of . She married Robert E. Stratton on October 19, 1947, in Carlinville, IL, at the Assembly of God Church.

She loved to sew and collected a variety of Christmas ornaments. She was very active in her online community, always commenting on social media especially Facebook. Alice loved her church dearly and made sure to stay connected in her church's prayer chain.

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, sister Lula, husband, Robert E. Stratton, her two sons, Kenneth E. and Rev. Richard L. Stratton, brothers, Clifford W. Tipsord, William K Brock, Charles H. Brock, and Donald F. Wilson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2024, 10:00 - 11:00 am at Carlinville First Church, Carlinville, IL.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 following the visitation at Carlinville First Church.

Interment will follow in Mayfield Memorial Park Cemetery in the Mausoleum of Valor.

Alice is survived by her son, Donald W. (Lynda) Stratton of Granite City, IL, grandchildren; Jason (Aurelia) Stratton, Tessa (Randy) Bierlein, Rev. Jonathan (Susie) Stratton, and seven great-grandchildren; Andrew Jonathan Stratton, Audrey Brooke Stratton, Alyssa Beth Stratton, Leo Archer Bierlein, Alice Evangeline Stratton, Francis Stratton, and Harry Stratton, as well as two nieces and three nephews.

Memorials may be made to Carlinville First Church Building Fund.
