Condolences
I always looked forward to seeing Doris when visiting my mom. She'd stop by every morning to get the paper and come in to talk, sometimes for 5 minutes, sometimes for an hour:) I loved hearing Doris' laugh, I think that's what I'll always remember the most. She was such a great friend for my mom, she'll really be missed.
I can't make it to the visitation/funeral but I wanted you all to know you are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. It's so hard when we lose our Mothers things are never the same. I pray knowing she is in a better place gives you comfort.
Love and hugs to you all.

I always enjoyed talking and laughing with Doris, while we compared notes on our "golden years." She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
One of the strongest memories of Doris is when she would make all the Christmas cookies for the grand children to ice and sprinkle. Doris didn’t care about all the sprinkles on the floor. She would say, no worries,we’ll get them later! Pure Love.

Rindy,
I'm so very sorry for the loss of your mother. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
I had the pleasure of meeting Doris when my husband and I moved to Girard. I continued seeing her when she and her best friend Betty came to the Redbird Cafe to eat. She was always wearing a smile and so happy. I will miss seeing her. Condolences to all who loved her.
As many did, I loved her. She was the sweetest. My love to you all
