Juanita Sue Chassey, 74 of Carlinville, Illinois passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023, at Hallmark Health Care in Carlinville, IL.
Juanita was born June 19, 1949, in Bethalto, IL, a daughter of Dewy Main and Juanita (Jones) Main Otto.
She married Fred Chassey in Carlinville, IL.
Juanita had her hands full raising five children. She was later employed at Grub and Pub in Girard for several years working in the kitchen. After their closing, she was a housekeeper for several homes in Carlinville area.
Her spare time was spent enjoying the St. Louis Cardinals play baseball and playing Bingo.
Juanita was preceded in death by her sisters, Olive Tate and Sissy Main.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Fred Chassey of Gillespie, IL, daughter, Jennifer Garrison, daughter, Donna Cross, daughter, Carol Black, son, James Garrison, daughter, Angie Garrison, 11 grandchildren, brother, Johnie Main, brother, and Richard Main.
Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville is in charge of arrangements.
