Helen M. Bryant, 84 of Beardstown, formerly of Girard Il passed away Friday afternoon, April 21, 2023, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville, IL. Helen was born July 27, 1938, in Kincaid, IL, one of nine children born to Roy R. and Madge (Cantral) Meacham. After attending high school she married Robert L. Bryant, April 30, 1955 in Kincaid, IL. Helen spent her life as a homemaker and caring for others. She love to watch the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs and Bill Elliott drive in the NASCAR circuit. Helen was preceded in death by her parents, husband in 2016 and brothers; Joseph Frank Meacham, Roy Ralph Meacham Jr., Arthur Ray Meacham, Richard Alan Meacham and sisters; Bobbie Wyzard, Hazel Bryant, Bonnie Jackson and Peggy Jo Best. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home 226 North 3rd Street Girard, IL. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Thayer, IL. Helen is survived by her several nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or St. Judes. Please visit to leave condolences or light a candle in her memory. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard is in charge of arrangements.
