Geraldine Fae Krug, 100 of Carlinville, Illinois formerly of Riverside, CA passed away 5:00AM, December 22, 2022, at her residence at Morse Farm.

Gerry was born December 5, 1922, in Santa Barbara, CA, a daughter of Rumaldo and Alberta (Schindler) Abbott.

Geraldine graduated from Santa Barbara, CA High School with the class of 1940.

She married Lt. Colonel Richard David Krug in Hood River, OR. on September 21, 1946.

Gerry was a homemaker, with her husband being in the military she lived all over the world including Japan, Germany and all over the United States. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting and she had a love of pets. She was an avid supporter of the military. Later in her adult life she moved numerous times between Riverside, CA and Carlinville, IL. Her last years she resided at the Village of Morse Farm, where she made many friends and received wonderful care.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband, Lt. Colonel Richard David Krug and son, Richard Lee "Rick" Krug.

Geraldine is survived by her daughter, Diana Tinsley of Carlinville, IL, granddaughter, Megan Wynn of Carlinville, IL, granddaughter, Taryn (Shawn) Kahl of Carlinville, IL, grandson, Neil Krug of West Linn, OR, grandson, Conner Krug of West Linn, OR, grandson, Mason Krug of West Linn, OR, great-granddaughter, Lyla Kahl of Carlinville, IL and daughter-in-law, Lisa Krug of West Linn, OR.

There will be no services at this time.
