Obituary of Brittany Alexandra Chance

Brittany Alexandra Chance, 30, of Hettick, passed away Friday evening, December 2, 2022 at her residence in Hettick, IL. Brittany was born on June 25, 1992 to Aaron M. Chance and Rebecca E. (Geninatti) Conlee in Litchfield, IL. Brittany was a 2010 graduate from Northwestern High School, where she was member of the National Honor Society. After graduation, she attended Blackburn College for 3 years, studying psychology. Brittany was a receptionist for the La Quinta Hotel in Springfield. She enjoyed being with family, hula hooping, friends, taro readings, conspiracy theories, attending raves and festivals, and dub step music. Her favorite holiday was Thanksgiving. Her pet pit bull, Prince, was her special companion. Brittany is survived by her mother, Rebecca Conlee of Gillespie, IL and father, Aaron Chance of Gillespie, IL: her other set of parents, Nathan and Debi Baker of Hettick, IL: two brothers, Timothy Conlee of Gillespie, IL, and Nathan Baker ll of Palmyra, IL; four sisters, Candace Conlee of Benld, IL, Brooklyn Arnett of Carlinville, IL, Kamryn (Ryan) Wheeler of Chesterfield, IL, and Taylor Baker of Palmyra, IL; 4 nieces, Harmony, Rylynn, Anastasia, and Riann. Brittany was preceded in death by grandfather, Arthur Geninatti, grandfather, Charles Chance, grandfather, Arthur Wiser, and uncle, Rick Wiser. A Celebration of Life will be held January 14th,2023at the Old Number 7 in Palmyra. There will be live music from 5:00 pmuntil10:00 pm. Snack food and cupcakes will be provided. Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville is assisting the Chance family. Memorials are suggested to the Macoupin County Animal Shelter.
