Tracy Lynn (Karrick) Byars, 59 of Gillespie, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 13, 2022, at her residence. Tracy was born October 19, 1963, in Litchfield, IL, a daughter of Daniel D. and JoAnn (Farrant) Karrick. She married William Lee Byars November 4, 1999 at the Macoupin County Court House in Carlinville. Tracy enjoyed being a homemaker, flower gardening, collecting fairies and frogs. Tracy was preceded in death by her parents and son Joshua D. Karrick in 1993 and brother Daniel. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville, where funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 pm with Rev. Gary Farthing officiating. Burial will follow in Moore Cemetery, Carlinville. Tracy is survived by her husband, Bill of Gillespie, IL, brother, Kevin Karrick of Gillespie, IL, sister, Tammy (significant other Harry Scholtz) Karrick-Martintoni of Staunton, IL, sister, Lori Karrick of Gillespie, IL, brother, Nathan Karrick of Carlinville, IL, several nieces and nephews.
