My dad was more then my father he was my best friend my mentor my teacher my co worker my heart.... My dad was always teaching me always tryn to make me better at everything I did in life. No matter what obstacle dad always had a answer and a solution. He was glue. The glue that held everyone and everything together for us. A man that worked 12 hr days 6 days a week and still found time to go throw the ball in the yard to make me a better ball player.... A man that loved his family his country his wife his kids and God. I'll love my dad now, forever, and always. There isn't words that the english language has came up with that can describe the loss of my father.... When I was young I was his shadow... As I grew up into a man my dad wanted my shadow..... My dad made me the man I am today and anything I accomplish in life will be because of dad joseph Andrew mercer and mom tamatha kay mercer. I know he is watching over us and will continue to guide me threw the rest of life. He is never truly gone unless u let his memory die. I will tell my son my grandkids my friends my family of him and the lessons he taught me. In life we all have a debt to pay. Death is payment of giving the gift of life. But a debt I can never pay for is the lessons that he taught me and the love and bond we shared... I'm forever grateful. Forever missed Forever loved....Forever
