Prayers and love for Daryll and family. He was such a kind and thoughtful man. My children adored him. We were blessed to have him in our lives. I'm sure he has the Angels smiling. God Bless
My prayers go out to the Allen family. May you find peace in this difficult time.

I was a classmate of Daryll's in Bunker Hill. I didn't know him well and didn't realized how talented he was. What a fine man he was. I am so sorry for your loss.

Debbie, I don't know if you remember me, I would stay with Jackie and probably was a pest! I am saddened by all your family has been through and want to share my condolences. And also to say love you Jackie, what an awesome brother in law to grow up with. Sue Kennedy
I was a classmate of Daryll, at Bunker Hill High School. He was a person who kept our class of 1967 smiling & laughing all the time. I had no idea he was so talented, w/ black smithing, etc. For sure will never pass anything left on road w/o thinking "can it be reused, repurposed, or recycled." It was great to see that he earned so many military honors. So proud of him!. We need to get his name on the wall of fame in Bunker Hill.
Also had no idea his sister, Roxann lived so close to us, in Ironton, MO. Ironton is a very pretty part of the country, & we often go there for rides in fall, to see the pretty leaves.
Our sympathy to the entire family, as Daryll will surely be missed. One day hope he & Jim can play horseshoes in heaven.

Rest in peace from one veteran to another.
Sincerely,

I will always remember Dale as one of the most positive, upbeat teammates at the Clark Hartford Refinery. I don't think I ever heard him speak badly of anyone. What a gentleman. I know Daryll will be pitching horseshoes in heaven and rooting for the rest of us to join him there. My heart goes out to his family and friends. Daryll was a one in a million kind of guy.

Daryll was a fellow classmate who helped keep humor alive throughout all of our school years. I was not aware that Daryll had received so many military awards. He is to be honored for serving his country so well. Sympathy goes to his whole family.
Daryll was truly one of a kind. Cathy and I had the privilege of being his classmate all through our years at Bunker Hill. Always fun and full of surprises. One of my favorite Daryll stories was when I asked him to run the mile for our senior class in the Intramural Track meet. He showed up the day of the meet with a canteen and backpack filled with snacks which he packed the whole race. Daryll you will truly be missed. My sincere condolences to the family.
Daryll was a great guy ...never ever saw him with out a smile on his face. my condolences to Debbie and his children....and to all his fellow fitters who are heart broken over this....
