Kent Robert Rovey, 38 of Farmersville, Illinois passed away Sunday afternoon, September 6, 2020, at his residence. Kent was born on April 13, 1982, in Springfield, Illinois, a son of Robert L.and Margaret (Watson) Rovey. Kent enjoyed St. Louis Cardinals baseball, fishing, landscaping and welding. He was self employed. He attended Lincolnwood High School, Vatterott College and was a graduate of Midwest Technical Institute. Visitation will be held on Friday afternoon, September 11, 2020, 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, 226 North 3rd Street in Girard, IL. MASKS WILL BE REQUIRED. Private Family Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, September 12, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Rovey Cemetery, Farmersville, Illinois Kent is survived by his parents Bob and Maggie Rovey of Farmersville, Illinois, children; Kenden, Kolton, Kaiya and Aleigha, brother, Kevin (Gretchen) Rovey of Farmersville, Illinois, three nephews; Korbin, Grayson and Easton and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Vernon and Doris Rovey and Marion and Suzanne Watson, Uncle Rollie Pope, Uncle Joe Watson and Aunt Mary Hobson.
