Condolences
Dear Debbie, Curt and Family,
I am deeply saddened by the loss of your Mother. She was a great lady and we always thought of her and all of you as family. I have such fond memories to cherish of coming to visit your Mom, Dad and Family. One of the memories I hold dear in my heart is going down to the barn to play with the new calves you would get in. They would suck my thumb and I loved petting them. Your Mom was always so welcoming!
Love and Hugs to you all.

Debbie and Curt some of the best times we had growing up were coming out to the farm and hanging out with you all and your Mom and Dad. There was always a ton of gut busting laughter and adventure. I was lucky enough to have 3 sets of parents and Ethelene and Ramey were definitely in that group. We all were and are still blessed to have the Hays family in our lives. When I have come back to Girard, I always made it a point to go see your Mom. She always greeted my Brother and I with the words, "it's my boys, it's my boys!!", and then a lot of hugs. She will be missed, but the memories will live on. Our thoughts and prayers are with you two and the entire Hays family. She was an awesome lady!!!

Deb, So very sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom.
Debbie, Curt and family we are sorry for your loss and are prayers are with you as you go through this time. It feels very strange being the oldest in your family. Now we are the ones that are suppose to know the answers and family history. We do know if we could only ask Mom! Thoughts are with you.

Curt and Debbie, you were blessed with great parents! I will never forget seeing your folks in the field and then couple hours later at the Girard Country Club dancing up a storm. Your mom looked like she just left the beauty shop. I hope today they are plowing fields and dancing together like they should be. I'll never forget Ethelene picking up our first baby at the Nilwood bus stop. What a wonderful woman heaven has gained.
My deepest sympathy and condolences to Deb, Curt and the entire Hays family. Ethelene was a wonderful lady who was always laughing and had a smile when you seen her. RIP Ethelene!
So sorry for your loss Debbie. Our sincere sympathy to you and all of the family. Hoping the good memories of your mom will bring you peace and comfort during this difficult time, and in the days ahead. Carole deVries and Frank Pierce
