Vicki and Amanda - I am so very sorry. I have so many vivid memories of David as I was growing up. He was funny, kind, thoughtful and a hard worker. Steve loved him very much. I am keeping you in my prayers.

I grew up with David in Atwater Illinois. I grew up with him Margret Sue and Gay. Ladonna I'm so sorry I haven't kept in touch. David is home now with his sister. I will try to make the funeral tomorrow. David was a good man. Keep his memory alive.

I was sorry to hear of Dave’s passing. I am also sorry I missed the visitation. I also worked at Prairie Farms and met Dave there. He was a really super nice guy! The world needs more people like Dave Allen!!

I met Dave at Prairie Farms, we fished together a few times, I learned so much about motorcycles from Dave he was always willing to help anyone out! He was my friend! Truly a great guy!, Vicki and Mandy my heart goes out to you, love you guys

I went to school with Dave and worked with him at Prairie Farms. He had a great sense of humor and was a pleasure to be around. My condolences to his family; he will be missed.

I just recently met Dave & found him to be such a fun-loving guy, that truly loved his family & friends, & life! His bubbly personality was contagious, making everyone around him smile & laugh! I am so saddened to hear of his passing...he never wanted to give up. My thoughts & prayers go out to his family....he will be greatly missed, but hold onto all your beautiful memories....they will truly bring a smile along with your tears.

He was on of the hardest working men and would do anything for you. He was the best great uncle anyone could have ever asked for. He always was determined and could get any bad situation and turn it right around to a good one with all of his jokes and laughter that he brought to his friends and family!
