In my thoughts and prayers. Spent many Friday and Saturday evenings taking with Mary Lou at Holiday In as she played the piano. Great lady
Sending condolences, sympathy and prayers to Mary Lou's family. I just opened her Christmas card and read she was on her way to KC. What a shock it was to read of her death. It has been a very special experience these past few years connecting, via e-mail and cards, with Mary Lou. She was known to me as Sister Utt, Bubbles, Cuz( we may or may not have been cousins),Cougar and of course Mary Lou. We attended high school together, double dated, enjoyed our times on Sunday night at the Girard Baptist Church for BYF meetings and fellowship and then off to Carlinville to the drive in theater. Since we re-connected a few years ago we spent a lot of time reminiscing about eating Taylor's Chili and her favorite dress attire which included a white blouse, blue skirt, white "bobby" socks, loafer shoes all topped off by bright, red lipstick. We shared so many laughs. I believe the reminiscing brought a lot of joy in her life. I will miss her so very much. I am sure Mary Lou is safely home in Heaven. God undoubtedly was running short on pianists and called her home to Him to share her talents. Blessings. Dr. Robert K. Jenkins.
My thoughts and prayers go out to my friends Andy, Jeff, Brian, Lee & Josephine and all the family. You all know how much Mary Lou was a part of my life as you all have been. She was like a mom to me all thru the years and my heart is hurting. Godspeed Mary Lou, your music is filling heaven forever now as it did everywhere on Earth.
