Your mother was the best SS teacher I ever had!!!!
I was in the same SS class as Julie Huson and remember how we counted the offering in the shape of our initials. Once in a while we would run into your mom when I came back to visit and of course she always remembered me.
God bless.
So many great memories of Melba Austwick as I was growing up in the Charity community! She was my Sunday School teacher when I was very young and she loved to laugh and tell me the story about me singing the Beverly Hillbilly theme song when she asked the class for favorite songs. She loved kids and loved people and that’s what Jesus Christ modeled. It was evident in her life that she loved the Lord! She’s a part of who I am and who a lot of other people are too because of her investment in others. Connie and Vicki you had a great mama and she lived her life well.
Melba was my Sunday School teacher & always active in church. I was glad I was able to send her a card & note for her 90th birthday to let her know I was thinking of her. She was also Alan's Sunday School teacher & he remembers her also. She was a special person as we were growing up.
Melba was such a classy, timeless lady and a joy to know. She had a gentleness combined with confidence and capability that few ladies possess. Our deepest sympathy to all of you.
Melba was a wonderful Christian woman and will be greatly missed. We are praying for you all. May God give you peace and comfort in knowing that she is with her Lord and Savior in Heaven. We love you all.
Our deepest sympathy Vicki, Connie and your families in the loss of your Mom. I still remember working with her at West School and talking to her in the hallway at Heritage! She was such a sweet lady and will be deeply missed!
