So sorry to hear of the passing of Bob Little. I just found him through DNA a few years ago. He comes down the Whitby line through my grandpa David Whitby's side. We share the same distant grandparents. My father Ralph Milton Whitby was born in Boody, IL. His parents had moved to area to work a farm with my Grandpa David's brother.

Never got to meet Bob but I was excited to have found another cousin. Rest in peace BOB!

So while his family and friends will miss him and Carlinville will no longer see him out on his walks, those who know and love him in Heaven have greeted him and he now walks the streets of gold. Bob was a wonderful guy. Always had a smile and good morning when I went to work at CNB. I saw him as he walked up town and back home.

My daughters would always say they could depend on Bob checking in with them when they managed the pro-shop at the Country Club during the summer. He even gave Callie one of his famous woodcarvings. Donna and girls, I so sorry to hear about Bob. I can't tell you how I loved to aggravate him and the feeling was mutual . He was always so helpful to us when he worked at the bank. However my love hate relationship started with that darn Spellbound on WSMI. We sure would go at each other on who was cheating or not. He will be missed that is for sure.
