Don, Thank you for all the great memories you and Trudy created for family holidays at the house on Possum Creek in Oconee. Our little joke, when the realtors renamed it "Woodland Estate".
You were always interested in all the family members, and we shared our mutual interest in genealogy.
You will be greatly missed.

I always called him Mr. Barry. He was a mentor to me. I began as a nurses aid, LPN, then RN and worked for Don for 15 years (mostly at the Pana facility. He was a very wonderful man and I will miss him dearly. My thoughts are with all of you (his family).

I am so sorry to hear of Dons passing. My parents Ray & Ruth Brown we’re neighbors in Raymond to Don’s parents, lovely people! So kind. We spent the night one time when there was some family emergency, I was 4, my brother was 6!
I remember Don contributed to my husbands campaign for Regional Superintendent of Schools in the early 80s! So kind!
When my grandmother Olive Fowler needed a Nursing Home Don Barry got her a bed in Litchfield.

I worked for Mr. Barry at one of the Country Care Centers. He was a compassionate man who knew every employee and resident by name. He had high standard for those in his homes and was always ahead of the pack in both regulations and nursing practices. I am so sorry for your lose.

I enjoyed seeing Mr. Barry with his dog at work at Barry Care in Litchfield. So sorry for his family's loss, and God rest his soul.
My heartfelt condolences to all in your loss. I remember the first day I met Mr. Barry. Working with him was the best experience of my career. Mr. Barry could be found at any time, knew every employee and resident by name, and was always a step ahead in our industry.

I am sorry for your loss. I worked for Mr. Barry at his Carlinville home for almost 20 years. He was a very good man to work for. I respected him very much. I am sending prayers to Jamie and Greg. They are the only family members that I know but my prayers do go to all of the family for the Lord to give you peace.
