What a remarkable man! Whenever we'd visit IL from AZ, we couldn't wait to get out to Eddie's to visit. Dad (Gary Ritter) would bring him Beef and Noodles from Verda Mae's and we'd all settle in to hear Eddie's wonderful stories! He'd take us around the farm to show us his crops just coming up, his sweet corn patch, he'd unfold a GIANT implement to show us and, if we were lucky, he'd fire up a tractor and take us for a ride in the field!!
