I knew Ruth when I was a child in the 1970's and early 80's when living nearby with my Grandmother and Aunt - Pearl and Joyce Talley. Some of my best neighborhood memories are Ruth and I searching together for four leaf clovers on hot sunny days. She was one of the kindest and most wonderful adults I remember from my childhood. She seemed so happy to spend time together and helped create cherished memories which I will always keep.
