Condolences
I met Bill shortly after moving to Sugar Loaf over 30 years ago. We were neighbors for a while, but always friends. Fond memories of poker nights at the firehouse where Bill taught me how to play Omaha high /low. I was very glad to spend a short time with Bill just this past week. So sorry for your loss David, you are in our thoughts and prayers.
My entire family was extremely saddened to hear about the passing of our good friend, Bill. He meant a lot to myself and my dad, Clay Boone. I will always remember the great conversations we had over the years as he would come over for Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter dinners. He was part of our family and we loved him just as our own. My dad and I and many of our family members and friends will be eternally grateful to Bill for years of warm welcome from him to hunt his wonderful farm. The memories that were created there, while hunting with fathers and sons and friends alike, are absolutely priceless and will have an everlasting and special place in all of our hearts. Thank you, Bill, for allowing us the magnificent honor of opening your home and property up to us. For creating bonds and memories and timeless sharing of love and good times in general. Thank you for being our friend. God bless you! You will be missed by your second family back in Sugar Loaf. Love always and forever, the Boone family
Our condolences to Bill's family. We bought part of his farm and built our house. He was the heart and soul of Silvertail Road. He brought us all together with our community vegetable garden. We all learned so much from him. It was a privilege knowing him and we will miss him so much. Rest in peace, Bill. Steve and Cathi Sabatini.
I am very sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort " 1 Corinthians 1:3-4 bring comfort to your family during this difficult time. Again my condolences.
Brings back memories of our high school days which included running with Bill and the fun we had in Carlinville.
Bill was our colorful leader of our neighborhood which he created from his organic farm. He guided us as we became friends building our community garden battling the weeds, the potato beetles and the wood chucks. We were very fond of him and admired his knowledge of all things farming. May he rest in peace.
