Obituary of Mary Dworzynski

Mary Ann Dworzynski, 82 of Carlinville, passed away Monday morning, September 28, 2015 at her residence in Carlinville, IL. Mary was born on December 26, 1932 to Walter and Marie (Zang) Vesper in Staunton, IL. She was a graduate of Staunton High School with the class of 1950. On November 20, 1954 she married Theodore "Ted" A. Dworzynski at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Staunton and he preceded her in death on October 7, 2009. Mary was the owner of Vesper Granite Inc., as well as a homemaker. She was a member of Terry Park and Oak Leaf Country Clubs, golfed in the ladies league and was also involved with the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great grandchildren and working in her yard. Mary is survived by her daughter, Donna Wild of Carlinville; son, Mike (Karen) Dworzynski of Carlinville; son, Steve (Donna) Dworzynski of Carlinville; daughter, Paula (Danny) Bultema of Dorchester, IL; 9 grandchildren, Suzanne Rife, Renee (Jason) Verton, Heather (Tony) Bredel, Jordan (Hannah) Dworzynski, Kimberly and Kristen Dworzynski, Whitney and Braden Dworzynski and Colton Bultema; 5 great grandchildren; brother, Walter "Bud" (Kathryn) Vesper of Jacksonville, IL; sister-in-law, Darlene Renko of Moro, IL, as well as several nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Carlinville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Father Michael Haag officiating. Burial will follow in Prairie Lawn Cemetery.
