Lucille E. Boros 90, of rural Girard, passed away, Monday afternoon, October 12, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield. She was born Friday, May 16, 1919 in Girard, IL, the Daughter of Louis and Fannie (Lubben) Fuchs. She married Frank Boros at the Zion Lutheran parsonage in Farmersville, IL on October 28, 1939. She was baptized and confirmed at the Zion Lutheran Church in Farmersville, where she was a member and after marriage Frank became a member. They later joined the Zion Lutheran Church ELCA in Farmersville, where she presently was a member. Lucille was a member of the Ladies Aid and later joined the Ladies Aid of Zion Lutheran Church in Carlinville. She and her husband, Frank, had farmed near Pawnee and in 1963 purchased a farm in the Carlinville area. She was very interested in farming and enjoyed growing flowers in the yard and house. Lucille looked forward to her Bunco Club and playing "King on the Corner" at the Senior Citizens Center in Carlinville, although illness kept hew away the past year. Survivors: Daughter, Elaine Bilbruck (Wil) of Carlinville, IL, Daughter, Linda Bilbruck (Bill) of Standard City, IL, 4 Step Grandchildren, 9 Step Great Grandchildren, 3 Step Great Great Grandchildren, Brother, Donald Fuchs (Barbara) of Girard, IL, Bernice Bostic of Shelton, WA. many nieces and nephews; Cousins;Della Fuchs, Farmersville; Pauline Leake; Leona Niemann and Lawrence Fuchs all of Litchfield; Helen Aldridge, Farmersville;Norma Stenbeck, CO.; Harvey Fuchs of Cantrall and Oren Nobbe, CO. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank, Oct. 11, 1995, sister Betty Cacciatori (Jim) in 1999, and brother Harold in infancy. Funeral Information Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, October 15 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes in Carlinville, IL. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, October 16, 2009 at Zion Lutheran Church ELCA in Farmersville with Rev. David Snyder officiating. There will visitation one hour before the service. Burial will be in Bethel Ridge Cemetery, rural Atwater. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church ELCA in Farmersville or Carlinville Senior Citizens Center.
