Obituary of Clifford H. Bording

Clifford H. Bording 75, of Carlinville, passed away Sunday morning, October 7, 2012 at his residence in Carlinville. Clifford was born on April 23, 1937 to Clay and Helen (Neimeyer) Bording in St. Louis, MO. He married Jurlene "Jerri" Wills on May 18, 1957 in St. Louis, MO. Clifford met his wife Jerri while they were both working at a bank in St. Louis. He worked for Worksaver in Litchfield as the plant manager/purchasing agent. Clifford was a member and Deacon at Memorial Christian Church in Carlinville, as well as a member of Carlinville Elks Lodge #1412 and was past Exalted Ruler twice. He also loved to hunt, watch all St. Louis sports teams, talk politics and visit with friends. Clifford is survived by his wife, Jurlene "Jerri" Bording; daughter, Teri Cerar (Jon) of Carlinville; 2 sons, Clay Bording of Miami, FL and Carson Bording of Chicago, IL; grandson, Joshua Cerar; sister - Lois Vonderheide of Mission, TX and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Gary and Clay Bording. Funeral Information Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville with Elks Ritual performed by the Carlinville Elks Lodge #1412 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11, 2012 at11:00 a.m. at Memorial Christian Church in Carlinville with Rev.
