Obituary of Stanley Russell Wonaroski

Stanley R. "Stosh" Wonaroski 72, of Girard, died Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at his residence. He was born Tuesday, October 11, 1938 in Girard, Illinois, the Son of the late Leonard E. and the late Marcella (Kuprewicz) Wonaroski. He married Barbara Hatalla in Carlinville, Illinois on June 6, 1966. Stanley worked along side his older brother, Raymond. First they worked construction under the name StanRay Construction Company. Later, he worked for Ray at Girard Redi Mix. One of their many projects was the Virden Community Swimming Pool. Stan retired as a concrete finisher. Survivors: Wife, Barbara Wonaroski of Girard, Son, Jason R. Wonaroski (Vicky) of Girard, Grandchildren, Lucas, Hanna, & Parker Wonaroski, all at home, Brother, Raymond "Ray" Wonaroski (Shirley) of Virden, Two "Favorite" Nieces and One Nephew, Several Cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Information Visitation: 5:00 to 7:00 P.M., Friday, December 3rd at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard. Services: 10:30 A.M., Saturday, December 4th, at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home. Rev. Daren Zenhle will officiate. Burial: Girard Cemetery.
