Bernadine A. Wing

of Carlinville, died Wednesday evening, September 30, 2009 at St. Francis Hospital in Litchfield.

She was born Thursday, July 27, 1922 in Morris, IL, the Daughter of the late Frank and Edith (Eich) Rudow. She married Ralph O. Wing in Morris, IL on April 9, 1947 and he passed away Septmeber 18, 1997.

Bernadine graduated from Morris High School, class of 1939 and Kankakee Business College. She was Accountant/Secretary for Woodlawn Acre Nursing Home and Ike's Lumber Yard both in Carlinville.

Bernadine was a member of Ss. Mary & Jospeh Catholic Church. She loved to play the organ and enjoyed all kinds of music.

Survivors: Son, Ralph O. Wing Jr. of Overland Park , KS, Son, Earl S. Wing (Lesa) of Carlinville, IL, Daughter, Mary K. Gaines (Robert) of Nashville, TN, Daughter, Carol A. Weik (Gene) of Mt. Olive , IL, 13 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, Sister, Gretchen Johnson of Morris, IL, Sister, Shirley Weidner of Morris, IL, Special Caregivers; Virginia Jett and Diane Hudgins.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, granddaughter; Heather Eichen and brothers Ferdinand and John Rudow. Funeral Information

Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to Noon, Saturday, October 3 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville, IL.

Funeral services will follow after the visitation with Rev. Tom Donovan officiating.

She will be buried in New Calvary Cemetery in Carlinville. Pallbearers are Robert Rice, Sean Adams, Frank Makler, Frankie Makler, Russell Goldbricht, and Charles Chance. Donations Information
