Obituary of Richard E. Wheeler

Richard E. Wheeler of Virden, passed away, Wednesday March 7, 2012 at his residence. Richard was born on April 17, 1958 and the son of Coin Silver Runyon in East St. Louis, IL. Richard married Janet (Allen) Budde at the Macoupin County Court House in Carlinville in 1978 and they later divorced. Richard attended the Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses in Auburn, IL. Richard had been a maintenance man at the Sunrise Manor Nursing Home in Virden for several years. Richard enjoyed music and was a talented musician. He played the drums, guitar, harmonica and keyboards. Richard loved his family and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Richard is survived by his two sons - Richard L. Wheeler of Virden, IL, Casey R. Wheeler of Modesto, IL; granddaughter - Brookelyn Nicole Marley and brother - Kenneth Ray Palovich of Girard, IL; . He was preceded in death by mother, Coin Silver Runyon. Funeral Information Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral service at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home, Girard, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday March 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Carolyn Austin officiating. Donations Information Memorials are suggested to the to the Family.
