Obituary of Matthew W. Weyen

Matthew W. Weyen age 26, of Carlinville passed away in an accident Sunday morning, October 21, 2012, in Hamburg. Matt was born February 28, 1986, in Springfield, IL, the son of Mark W. and Tracy (Goodman) Weyen. Matt graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 2004. Matt was the Operations Manager for the farming division of Doyle Manufacturing in Quincy, IL. He also served as a hunting guide for the Doyle operations. Matt was a member of Ss Mary & Joseph's Catholic Church in Carlinville and the Black Hole Builders. He loved to duck & goose hunt, golf, work with his dog "Rage" and enjoy life to the fullest with his friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmother Beth Weyen and his great grandfather William Ruyle. Surviving are his father, Mark W. Weyen of Gillespie, mother, Tracy & Lige Daley of Carlinville, sister, Kelsey Weyen of Edwardsville, grandfather, John Weyen of Litchfield, grandparents, Vernon & Sandra Goodman of Roodhouse, great grandmother, Blanche Ruyle, several aunts, uncles and cousins, his dog "Rage". Funeral Information Visitation will be held Tuesday, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 am, Wednesday,October 24, 2012, Ss Mary & Joseph Catholic Church 2010 East First South in Carlinville with Rev. George Morelock and Rev. Angel Sierra officiating. Burial will be in New Calvary Cemetery. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Macoupin Center for the Developmentally Disabled in Carlinville or St. Jude's Hospital.
