Linda Welte

Linda Welte, 63, of Palmyra went to be with her Savior on Friday, April 9, 2010 at her daughter's residence in Carlinville.

Linda was born June 25, 1946 in Peoria to Lynn and Jean Boatman. Her father preceded her in death.

She attended and graduated from Carlinville High School in 1964.

On June 28, 1964 she was united in marriage to Tim Welte at Trinity Lutheran Church in Girard.

Linda was employed by Northwestern School District for thirty plus years as a bus driver. The last several years of her career she also worked as an individual teacher's aide. Linda loved being outside enjoying the beauty of nature, and working at anything outside. She loved being with and doing things with her family. She was a devoted wife and mother.

For 25 plus years she was a member of Palmyra Christian Church. At the time of her death, she was a member of Carlinville Southern Baptist Church, where she was able to worship with her entire family.

She is survived by her Husband, Tim Welte of Palmyra, IL, Son, Troy Welte of Springfield, IL, Daughter, Tammy (Bill) Konneker of Carlinville, IL, Grand-Daughter, Morgan Konneker of Carlinville , IL, Grand-Daughter, Amanda Welte of Carlinville, IL, Grand-Daughter, Adrian Welte of Carlinville, IL, Mother, Jean Boatman of Carlinville, IL.

Her remains were cremated.

Celebration of life service will be held at Carlinville Southern Baptist Church on Saturday April 17, 2010 with Rev. Tim Rhodus. Friends my call from 9:00-11:00am and service at 11:00am. Interment will be at a later date. Donations Information
