Richard "Rich" Weaver
64, of Carlinville, formerly of Virden, passed away Monday morning, January 13, 2014, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL.
Rich was born January 22, 1949, in Springfield, IL, a son of Edward H. and Esther Reynolds Weaver Decker.
During his lifetime Rich was a farm hand and worked for Bloome Elevator Shop in Carlinville. He recently retired from R&R Bindery Service in Girard as a cutter.
Rich was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during Vietnam. He enlisted in October of 1968 and was honorably discharged in October of 1974.
Rich was a member of USBC Bowling League. He was an avid bowler & NASCAR fan. Rich especially enjoyed his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Rich is survived by brother, Ed (Linda) Weaver of Carlinville; half-brother, Rodney Decker of Salisbury, IL; step-sister, Janet Lee Spruel of Decatur, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and half-sister, Judy Ann Decker Amann. Funeral Information
Graveside services will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery Friday, January 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Military honors will be conducted.
