Obituary of Barbara Suzanne Watson

Barbara Suzanne Watson 81, of Farmersville, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at Hillsboro Healthcare Center. Suzanne was born Friday, September 20, 1929 in Irving, IL, the daughter of Lamar and Florence (Burke) Smith. She married Marion Watson in Farmersville, IL on November 29, 1947 and he passed away August 11, 2010. Suzanne was the Salutatorian of the Farmersville High School graduating class of 1947. She had worked at the Farmersville Locker and Harley's Market. Suzanne was a past member of the Waggoner Home Extension and was the leader of the Waggonettes 4-H Club. Surviving family members are, daughter, Barbara Pope of Waggoner, daughter, Mary Hobson (George) of Farmersville, daughter, Maggie Rovey (Bob) of Farmersville, son, Paul Watson (Nicole) of Waggoner, son, Michael Watson (Barb) of Mechanicsburg, PA, son, John Watson (Jodi) of Farmersville, daughter, Patti Wills (Allen) of Farmersville, daughter, Monica Robinette (Bart) of Girard, IL, daughter-in-law, Bobbie Watson of Divernon, 22 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, sister, Alice Seelbach of Springfield, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, son Joseph "Joe" May 18, 2011, brother Russell Allen and son-in-law Rollie Pope. Funeral Information Friends may call from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M., Thursday, May 26 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Homes in Girard, IL. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 27, 2011 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard. Burial will take place in St. Martin Cemetery in Farmersville.
