Obituary of Steven Eugene Waskow

Steven Eugene Waskow 55 of Springfield, formerly of Carlinville passed away Monday evening, June 25, 2012 at his residence in Springfield, IL. Steve was born on August 21, 1956 to Daryl and Jo Anne (Chicken) Waskow in Postville, IA. He graduated from Carlinville High School, class of 1976. Steve worked for Popeye's Chicken in Springfield for 10 years as an assistant manager. He was Baptized Lutheran, was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed all sports, as well as visiting with people. Steve is survived by his mother, Jo Ann Waskow of Carlinville; a brother, Kevin Waskow (Shelly) of Carlinville; two sisters, Debra Boehm (Dennis) and Danita Suhling (Randall) both of Carlinville; two nephews, Aaron Waskow and Bradley Suhling; four nieces, Amy Waskow, Ashley Bloomer (Andrew), Alison Goodman and Erica Suhling; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Daryl Waskow. Funeral Information Private family graveside services will be held at a later date.
