Pearl Amanda Vance
Pearl A. Vance passed away one day before her 94th birthday at the Heritage Manor in Springfield, IL at 12:20 P.M. She was born on March 4, 1914 in Palmyra, IL, the daughter of the late Robert Truman and Ora (Bettis) Pierson.
She married Ray L. Vance in Palmyra on Augsut 2, 1930. He passed away in 1968.
Pearl retired from Carlinville Area Hospital after 27 years as a LPN. She then loving cared for children in her home until the age of 85. She was affectionately know as "Grandma Vance" to many children of Carlinville. Pearl was a member of the Charity Baptist Church in rural Carlinville.

Funeral Services will be held, Friday, March 7, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at the Charity Baptist Church. Friends may call one hour before the service.
Friends may call at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville from 4:00 to 7:00 Thurday, March 6, 2008.
She will be laid to rest in the Hettick Cemetery next to her husband Ray. Donations Information
