Kay Killam Thompson
74, of Lonedell, MO, formerly of Carlinville passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, at St. Clair Health Center in Fenton, MO.
Kay was born April 2, 1938, in Carlinville, a daughter of Truman H "Butch" and Ethel Mae (Alfrey) Killam.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents and brother Jerry O. Killam.
Kay graduated from Carlinville High School with the class of 1956 and worked as a private duty CNA. She had also worked in several nursing homes in Missouri. Kay enjoyed gardening, cooking, playing cards, traveling and visiting with people.
Surviving are her sons, David Kim Thompson of Sullivan Mo. and Gary Lynn (Pamela) Thompson of St. Clair, MO, daughters, Cheryl Kay (James) Martin of Leslie, MO and Tammy Sue (Robert) Zeliff of Lonedell, MO, step-son, Alan Wesley (Cindy) Thompson of Canton, IL, step-daughter, Georgana (Joe) Hagan of Union, MO, ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, sister-in-law, Lois Killam, two nephews and a niece. Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 13, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday at Charity Baptist Church, rural Carlinville at 10:00 am.
Burial will take place in Charity Cemetery. Donations Information
