Have many Childhood memories of Don. We went to South School thru High School together. Had good times in 4-H, FFA, Farming & showing cattle at the Macoupin County Fair. We have kept in contact through the years. Haven't had too much contact with each other in last year. Will miss seeing him and his sense of humor, on our visits back home!! Rest in Peace Donnie!!

I came to know Don, in 1969when I started to work for Heyen implement in Dorchester.Helped him many time on the farm. sorry to hear of his passing.

RIP. my fellow classmate. Don and I went all through school together, including the one room country schools. Good guy and we had a lot of fun through the years.

I have a picture of Don from many, many years ago with a beer in one hand, a cigarette in the other and a big smile on his face. That's how I choose to remember him. He gave Tom and I a generous gift many years ago and I have thought about that many times through the years. His generosity inspired me through the years to help others when I can. I hope his family finds peace and comfort with the good memories of Don.
