age 87 of Girard, IL passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at her residence. Almita was born July 24, 1921 in Olney, IL daughter of Chester & Margaret Miner.
She married William "Bill" T. Sutherland, June 10, 1942 in Auburn, IL and he died June 5, 1989.
Almita was a homemaker and a member of the Girard United Methodist Church.
Surviving family members are daughter Sandra Sue Talbert of Girard, grandson, James W. Talbert (Michaele) of Girard, great grandson, James W. Talbert Jr. step-grandsons Kyle & Dennis White of North Carolina, Brother, Robert Miner of Gary IN.

Funeral services will be held, Friday, 11:00 A.M. March 27, 2009 at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Girard, IL, Rev. Rich McElfresh will officiate. Visitation will be held Thursday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 at the funeral home. Donations Information
