Obituary of George Herbert Bloome

George Herbert "Bud" Bloome George Herbert "Bud" Bloome, age 83, of Atwater, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 1:50 P.M. at Friendship Home in Carlinville. He was born on October 22, 1924 in Shaws Point Township, the son of the late Oscar C. Bloome and the late Melinda (Dieckman) Bloome. Bud farmed in the Atwater area his entire life, and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Carlinville. Survivors: Sister, Hazel Re (Louie) of Gillespie, Illinois Sister-In-Law, Loretta Bloome of Divernon, Illinois 8 Nieces 1 Nephew Mr. Bloome was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Lucille Hartman and Mildred Ramos, and 2 brothers, Harold and Wilbur Bloome. Funeral Information Funeral services will be held Friday, September 19th, at 2:00 P.M. at the Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Rev. Kevin Strope will officiate.
