Mary A. Strader of Carlinville, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Heritage Manor in Carlinville. She was born Saturday, November 15, 1919 in Eaglecreek, IL., the daughter of Tom and Lillie (Seets) Booten. She married Julian "Curly" Strader in Arkansas on July 16, 1952 and he passed away August 18, 2002. Mary worked for Owens Glass Factory in Alton for 3o years. Survivors: niece, Lovene Hartmann of Florissant, MO, nephews, Robert Elliott of Flora, Donald Elliott of Godfrey, David Elliott of Carlinville and Todd Booten of Marion. Funeral Information Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 11 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville. Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home with Rev. Walter Shultz. Burial will take place in Prairie Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers serving the family are Don Elliott, Dave Elliott, Derek Elliott and Tim Nelson. Honorary pallbearers are Robert Elliott and Fred Holley. Donations Information Memorials may be made to the Carlinville Senior Citizens Center.
