Brett L. Stewart
of Standard City, died Monday morning, December 20, 2010 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield after a farm accident.
He was born Saturday, August 22, 1964 in Springfield, IL, the son of Carl Max and Karen (Wilton) Stewart.
Brett married DiLynn Whitley at her parents home in Standard City, on November 12, 1989. They remarried a year later at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Carlinville.
Brett was employed at Sloan's John Deere Dealership in Carlinville for over 5 years as a truck driver. He loved all St Louis sports teams especially the Blues Hockey team. Brett was a gardener and enjoyed decorating the house for all holidays. He enjoyed children of all ages.

Stewart of Standard City, IL, son, Nathan Stewart of Standard City, IL, son, Kevin Stewart of Standard City, IL, mother, Karen Stewart of Raymond, IL, brother Todd Stewart, wife Mary of Mt. Olive, IL, brother, Randy Stewart, wife Judy of Donaldson, IL, sister, Keri Krager, husband Bill of Raymond, IL, sister, Jennifer Black of Harvel, IL, grandfather, Russell Wilton of Carlinville, several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by father, Carl "Max" Stewart. Funeral Information
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M., Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Davis-Anderson Funeral Home in Carlinville.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 27, 2010 at Ss. Mary & Joseph Catholic Church in Carlinville with Rev. Steve Thompson.
Burial will be in Bethel Ridge Cemetery in rural Carlinville. Pallbearers serving the family; Greg McCallum, Dale Inman, Ted Thien, Phillip Steidley, Steve Gunning, Eric Bailey, John Bouillon, Jim Johnson, Mitch Heyen, Ryan Lurton, Connor Mize. Donations Information
